Vacuduct - Central Vacuum Systems
A Vacuduct central vacuum System consist of a very powerful vacuum machine, located away from your normal living areas. There is just no comparison to a regular vacuum cleaner. This power unit is connected, via a 50-mm diameter, P.V.C. duct to a number of inlet valves around your home.
When you wish to vacuum, you simply select the appropriate tool, (floor tool, dusting brush etc.) and plug in the lightweight flexible hose to the nearest inlet valve, the power unit turns on automatically and you start your cleaning. Think of it like having vacuum power on tap.
All the dirt that you vacuum is transported through the ducting to the remote power unit. The large dirt receptacle will only need emptying every 3 or 4 months. You get no recirculated dust so your home stays cleaner for longer and your home is healthier.
What are the Benefits?
• A long, lightweight hose makes housework much easier. No heavy machine to push or pull. A conventional vacuum can weigh as much as 30 lbs. With a Vacuduct all you carry is the hose, this only weighs about 5 lbs.
• Easy to move from room to room, from one inlet you can clean 3 or 4 rooms without a pause.
• Vacuuming is quicker. A variety of detachable tools enable you to clean all areas of your home using just one machine. The attachments include an upholstery tool, a crevice tool, a standard floor tool and a round dusting brush. For pet owners a useful option is an Airturbo brush. This uses a roller/beater brush to help pick up those tangled pet hairs.
• No noise, as the power unit is away from the main living areas, so is the noise. You can hear the phone ring whilst you're cleaning and listen to the radio.
• Dust and dirt collected away from the living rooms, giving a healthier atmosphere. Unlike old fashioned machines you don't carry a bag full of dirt around the house.
• The house stays cleaner as the dust is not re-circulated back into the rooms. As all the dirt is whisked away you don't spend your time picking up the same dirt time after time.
• Vacuum power is always available and can be used for car cleaning as well as garage and workshop.
• Durable low maintenance machine. The large dirt collector only needs emptying every few months. Initially you may do this more frequently as you collect up the "ground in" dirt your regular vacuum was leaving behind!
